Target “Bullseye Mobile” cell phone store launched
Today Target announced three new electronics services that it will begin offering, including Target Mobile, Target Electronics, and 1-877-myTGTech. Target Mobile will allow consumers to purchase cell phones and smartphones from AT&T, T-Mobile, and Verizon in stores and online through a partnership with RadioShack. Target plans to offer Target Mobile centers in 850 stores by the end of the year and nationwide by mid-2011. It’s unclear if the store will be marketed as “Target Mobile,” as the company’s press release said, or if it will go by the website’s “Bullseye Mobile” moniker.
