Nokia-Microsoft partnership bears first fruit: Communicator Mobile comes to E52 and E72
Last time we used “Nokia” and “Communicator” in the same sentence, we were talking about a giant QWERTY clamshell with roots dating back to the mid ’90s — but yeah, that’s most definitely not what looking at here. Instead, we’re seeing the first results of Nokia’s newfound friendship with Microsoft, a build of Communicator Mobile that’s all set up to run on the S60-based E52 and E72. Granted, an enterprise instant messaging utility isn’t something we can all use, but that’s just as well since it’s limited to just two devices in Nokia’s range at the moment; eventually, it’ll be preinstalled on “select” devices and be available to a broader selection of phones already in the lineup. This is awesome, guys — now let’s get cracking on Office, shall we?

Verizon Droid Incredible torn apart in glorious stop motion
We’re no strangers to tear down videos around here — we probably see at least one a week. This one, though… this one’s different. And by different, I mean awesome.
We’re used to teardowns being a pretty simple, somewhat boring affair. But this one has techno! And they shot it like an episode of friggin’ Gumby!
It’s amazing just how much stuff they were able to jam in there. When the bulkiest thing inside the handset is the camera lens, you know your engineering team rocks.

Nokia N8 and iPhone 4G Get Cloned, Caught on Camera (Video)
Well, one of them is a prototype and the other is a handset that’s barely been announced… however, these two just got cloned, courtesy of the same craftsmen from China. We’re talking about the iPhone 4G and Nokia N8, now reaching the clone status, as shown in the following pictures.
Nokia N8’s clone looks just like the real thing, but its specs are not even close: a 3.2 inch touchscreen (240 x 400 pixels), Bluetooth, an audio player, FM radio and an unimportant camera at the back, plus one at the front. This copypcat goes for $105 and you can even watch a video of it in action after the break.
As far as the iPhone 4G clone is concerned, this is a copy of the original, but a thicker one, with a cheap look and possibly dual SIM support. If you can stand all of these, you can get it for $115.

‘Black’ HTC Desire comes to Orange UK, sells out in a flash
We’ll be perfectly honest with you: we’re not seeing what’s “black” about the front of the Desire that Orange UK is now selling, but it insists that the phone is indeed devoid of color; we suspect they’re actually just referring to the back, for which the description seems more accurate — but that would make it no different than any other Desire being sold around the world. What does that mean? Basically, we think it means these guys need to get their eyesight checked. Spec-wise, this is the same Desire you’ll find elsewhere… if you can find it, that is — it sold out in short order on Orange’s site since its launch a few days ago, no doubt a side effect of the customer euphoria caused by the realization that they can get a 1GHz Snapdragon running Android 2.1 with Sense on a WVGA display for free on contract. In the meantime, you might want to sniff around stores.
